 THE
PURA LINGSAR ( LINGSAR TEMPLE )
The Pura Lingsar is a
very special compound of buildings for praying. Since there is
building where the Hindu foolowers carry out their Praying and to
wordship the creator and at the same place, separated only by a
wall and communicated by two doors, there is Kemaliq building,
very holy and sacred place for the sasak people realatred to the
history of Islam in Lombok.
In Pura Lingsar is very November/ Desember, Puja wali and Perang
Ketupat ceremonies are held, carried out together between the
Hindu fallowers and the Sasak ethnic group reflecting the
fee-lings of the happiness and expiring their thanks to the
creator who has given them fertility and well being. After holding
the worship ceremony in the Pura and Kemaliq they continue with “
Perang Ketupat “ ceremony by throwing other with Ketupat.
THE NARMADA PARK.
The Narmada Park is a remains of the Mataram King AA Ngurah Karang
Asem \. ( 1727)
A place constructed with a pattern of Gunung Rinjani ( Mount
Rinjani ) and danau ( lake ) segara anak . it is crosely related
to the existence of Pura Kalasain that compound, the place to
worship the God who controls the Rinjani. Here can also be found
in well beueved to be. : Air Muda “ ( fountain of youth ) for
keeping the face fresh and beautiful.
PURA MERU ( THE MERU TEMPLE )
Pura meru located in cakranegara. Was build in 1720 during the
 Kingdom od Singosari time under te administrasi of AA Made Karang
Asem. Pura Meru is a symbol of the unity of the Hindu followers in
the island of lombok, it has 3 part of yard in row from east west.
In the outher park of the yard ( west ) there is a Kentongan House
( kentongan = Drum / bell made of bamboo or wood to sound a alaram
) named “ Balai Kulkul “ where the kulkul ( kentongan ) used be
sounded at the time when the hindu followers hold a holy ceremony.
There are two big halls with highly elevated floor as a places to
keep the offerings ( sesajen ).
White in the firs yard ( east ) there are three “ menu “ ( a kind
of pagoda ) symbolizing syiva, wishny and Brahma. In this first
yard of pura meru there are 33 “ sanggar “
( Prayer House ) at its side.
THE MAYURA PARK.
The Mayura park is a park with its beautiful pools is a remains
which was built in 1744 by AA Ngurah Karang Asem. In the middle of
the pool there is building of Balai Kambang ( floating hall /
building ) which in the ancient Kingdom time used for judicial
court of important meetings. The combination of Hindu and Islamic
culture can be seen at the architectural style of the balai
kambang structure where in its surroundings haj statue are pound.
MAKAM PEJANGGIK.
Makam Pejanggik ( makam graver or cemetery ) is also known as
makam seriwa, since it is located in the Kampung or seriwa,
Pejanggik village, Praya timur district, Lombok tengan regency.
Makam pejanggik consist of two parts. The old and the new
cemetery. Makam pejanggik is known as the cemetery or the kings of
pejanggik ( Datuk Pejanggik ).
This place is one of old cemeteries in the island of Lombok. The
first king or Pejanggik ( or ratu pejanggik ) was prabu dewa merje
sakti and the last one was Dewa Meraja Kesuma were intered here.
MAKAM SELAPARANG.
Makam Selaparang is known as cemetery of King of the Kingdom of
selaparang. At to read “
 Laillahaillallah wa Muhammad Rasullulah “

In accordance to its name, the sacred cemetery of Kings has still
been treared as a holly place by the local people and it lasts
until now.
MASJID TUA BAYAN ( THE BAYAN MOSQUE )
The old mosque of bayan is located in the Bayan village, bayan
district west lombok regency. It is of about 8x8 m a root sloping
dwom lowly, made of santek ( bamboo tils ) either to walls or the
doors are only 1.10 m high, so when some one is going to enter he
must walk with his body bent. Before entering the mosque, people
have to wash their feet with water prepared in a large jar.
THE RAMBITAN OLD MOSQUE.
The Rambitan Mosque lies in the village of Rambitan Kecamatan of
sengkol, is is located in a village in a village on scope of a
hill. This mosque in one of the old mosque built in the 17th
century by wali Nyato. This mosque has a form almost similar to
the form of the old mosque found in bayan.
